How long does does a Squarespace website design take to design?

Why do your Squarespace website projects take that amount of time?
A thorough project should include: content editing, SEO optimization, custom design on each page, thoughtful systems and workflows, communications with you, revision rounds, and so much more. This takes time! Diluting the process into a day does not work for our specific workflow, though we do offer Design Days if you need a boost.
How long does a full brand design take to design?
Branding only (no website) takes on average 3-4 weeks, depending on the scope of the package.
Why does designing a logo for a brand project take that long to design?
Quite honestly - we’re pretty speedy! Branding is designed completely from scratch. As a designer, I open a completely blank board and use my own creativity, your research, and deep dive into the materials you’ve given me. The two week timeframe is the absolute fastest I can go.
What is your communication like throughout a design project?
We offer a set amount of calls for each project. We hit milestones and talk to you about different topics each time. You have unlimited access to Voxer or email, but additional calls are an additional cost.

Yes! Please ask us on your intro call or via email. We will extend your payments up to 6 months.
Squarespace Tech Support, Support, and How-tos
What kind of support do you offer after my site launches?
With Full Service, 30 Days of maintenance are included after your site launches! Within that month, you can make changes, alter things, reach out, etc!
After that, you will have access to custom how-to videos and a special existing client support page from Let’s Go Studio.
I really need help with something quick in Squarespace. I’m not tech savvy enough to get this issue - but I don’t need a full package. Can you help?
A Power Hour Consultation session is the answer! Within this hour I’ll knock out your issue, provide any strategic advice or tips that I see, and follow up with an email of resources. This is the lowest cost item and the fastest item I have, and I get a LOT done in this hour! Additionally, you could also book a design day if you’re a new client OR browse the current existing support packages if you’re an existing client.
Will you do [graphic design project]?
Bold August is a brand + website design studio and does not take on small graphic design projects at this time. If you are seeking assistance with graphic design items such as flyers, brochures, business cards, or more, we have references and would be happy to guide you in the right direction! Or, feel free to book a design day for a Canva buildout.
Bold August + AI (Artificial Intelligence.)
How is Bold August using AI?
Currently, Bold August is taking a cautious stance with AI. We are mindful of the environmental and mental impact it has on our Earth and our human minds. However, we recognize that the world is a fast-moving space and we want to stay sharp and understand how these tools can help, rather than hurt, us in our business endeavors.
Currently, we do not use AI for any sort of content, graphic, design, etc generation whatsoever. Bold August is against completely generative AI.
We are using it to edit blog posts, analyze data, and provide feedback when necessary.
We do not use AI at all in design work whatsoever, and will not do so. Only for content, blogs, outlining, and some light SEO work.
How does Bold August use AI with clients?
We always get consent first.
We allow clients to opt-out of AI usage during their onboarding! The choice will be yours if we utilize AI or not during your project. If you opt out of using AI, we will record that in our notes and will not touch it during the process of working with you.
If you opt-in, we will still not use AI to generate any unique, original content that was not already informed by your words and your language. The onboarding brand questionnaire is crucial for this, as it allows you to write in your brand voice first and then allow us to help you with AI later.
